Shakhtar Donetsk v AEK Athens - 14.10.2026 - Played at Stamford Bridge

Dear Residents,

We would like to make you aware that Chelsea Football Club has agreed to host Shakhtar Donetsk's UEFA Champions League matches at Stamford Bridge.

The first match will take place on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at 8:00 pm, against AEK Athens. Approximately 6,000 travelling supporters are expected to attend. Many fans are anticipated to gather in the Earls Court area before making their way to Stamford Bridge.

As a result, there is likely to be increased congestion on local roads and pavements before and after the match.

There will be a significant police presence in the area to help manage the event, maintain public safety, and provide reassurance to residents, businesses, and visitors.
